《Intelligent and Novel Functional Polymer Materials》

Introduction:

As one of the new branched discipline that is gradually be formed in the materials field, intelligent polymer has been taken as the material with all new concept and special functions. It has not only the ordinary ones, but the feedback information other materials don’t have and special ones can realize environmental responds according to feedback information. The course will be able to introduce some intelligent functional materials those are sensitive to heat, press, light, ion, biology, and force, and their applications through some professional concepts of intelligence and novel functional materials, thus getting postgraduates to learn how materials, simulate and information link together. Students will get to know the relations among polymer and electronics, magnetism, heat and chemical substances, laying the foundation for application and development of intelligent polymer materials.
