Abstract: The effect of biending time on the properties of reactive PP/EPDM alloy was studied via the analysis of gel content mechanical properties melt flow beahavior and morphology.The results indicated that properly lengthened blending time not only raised the crosslinking degree of the EPDM in the alloy,but also made diameters of the crosslinkde EPDM spheroids become smaller.Even the uninformity of spheroidssize and the distribution homogeneity of the EPDM spheroids in the PP matrix was improved obviously.Therefore,the melt flowability impact toughness and other mechanical properties of the reactive PP/EPDM alloy were effective incressed.
