ABSTRACT: Prepare and Study of 80mesh, 400mesh and 1250 mesh of three different particle sizes of mica reinforced PP composites. The results show, the mica can generally improve the strength, modulus and thoughness at room temperature of PP, the flexural properties was best, but the material elongation decreased. Reduce the mica particle size, the toughness of material rise and the rigidity ofmaterial reduce. PP -g-MAH can enhance the two-phase interface of the PP and mica and the interface transition layer becomes thicker, and generally improve the performance.
