Abstract: The effects of carbon nanofiber on the crystallization behavior of polypropylene in PP/CNF composites were studied with differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The results show that the carbon nanofiber can heighten the crystallization temperature of polypropylene and lower its crystallization rate and degree of crystallization in small extent. Increasing the carbon nanofiber contents, or reducing the diameter of the carbon nanofiber, the influence becomes more obvious, but the crystallization rate rises at first and then descends.
