Abstract:This paper reviewed the preparation of PP/MMt nanometer compound material, organic treatment of MMt, intercalation methed, as well as progress in research of mechanical properties and crystallizing properties of PP/MMt nanometer compound material. Organic modifying agent can expend MMt lamellas; polarity compatilizer increases the compatibility of MMt and PP matrix and the dispersibility of MMt in PP matrix, and promotes the caking and mechanical properties of interfaces. Nanometer MMt has the feature of heterogeneous nucleation, but the crystallizing speed is affected by various factors such as intervals of MMt lamellas and PP matrix.
