Abstract: A new preparation for PA/PC alloy with super toughness was disclosed. The method includes 2 steps: (1) the mass ratio of Polyamide(PA)6, polycarbonate(PC) and polyolefinelastomer(POE)-graft-MAH is 100:(5-15):(5-15). A different formulations was prepared by PA6, PC and the organic modified montmorillonite (OMMT) and the mass ratio is 100:(5-15)-(0-5). These formulations added 0-1.36wt% hexamethylenediisocyanate (HDI) respectively. (2) the different formulations was extruded by two-screw extrusion and cut into pellets. The extrusion temperature is 230-260 ℃, the speed of the screw is 50-80r/min. The preparation process was cooled by water.Compared with conventional techniques, the patens prepared the PA6 with high-modulus and super toughness.
