Abstract: Hydrogen-bonding supra molecular network polymers DFA-EAH and DFA-EAH-PTSI were assembled by amide oligomers which were synthesized from dimeric fatty acid (DFA), ethylenediamine (EAH) and p-toluenesulfonyl isocyanate (PTSI) . The structures of polymers were characterized with infrared spectrascopy (FT-IR), proton NMR(1H-NMR) spectroscopy and gel permeation chromatography (GPC).Thermal properties were investigated with differential scanning calorimetly (DSC) , loss angle tangent of dynamic thermal mechanical analysis( DMA) and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA). Results show that the products have low melting temperature and good thermal stability, and behave like elastomers at room temperature. Tensile tests show that the products have good mechanical properties.
