On February 14 Dr. Rolón Garrido, from Technical University of Berlin, was invited to visit our university and made a presentation "Increase of long-chain branching by thermo-oxidative treatment of LDPE: chromatographic, spectroscopic and rheological evidence".

    Dr. RolónGarrido is a teacher from the Institute of Polymer Materials, Technical University of Berlin. He taught "Polymer Physics", "Polymer thermal analysis", "Rheology", "Polymer Processing" and other core courses. He is also a member of Mexican National     Association of Scientists and the World Rheology Association, and won the best Presentation Award on Nordic Rheology Conference. He has a good knowledge in the field of polymer rheology. Currently he is responsible for Project "Rheology of polymer melts and its rheological state equation".

    His academic report is visual, concise and makes the abstract theory of rheology understandable. About this the students and teachers in our center discussed with him. Dr. Rolón Garrido visited Materials Testing Platform in Materials Science and Engineering Institute and Processing Center.
